Oppo Reno 4 Specifications, Release Date

At the end of last year, OPPO launched the OPPO Reno3 and OPPO Reno3 Pro , two premium mid-range devices with 5G to which, later, a model with 4G would be added . Three models in total that, to date, have not yet officially arrived in Spain. But the machine does not stop, so OPPO just called us on June 5 to present its new OPPO Reno4 and OPPO Reno4 Pro .

The company has just released the data through its official Weibo profile , where it confirms that the event will take place in China at 7:30 p.m. local time, 1:30 p.m. in Spain (one hour less in the Canary Islands). Knowing this, we are going to review everything it knows about these new devices, which is not exactly little, since the company itself has been in charge of revealing everything related to its design and some specifications.

What is known about the OPPO Reno4

Let's start talking about its design, a section of which there is little to know. We know what these phones will look like thanks to an official teaser of the company since they are already on TMall . There you can find photos in front and behind, so for practical purposes its aesthetics is not a secret. The back (available in red and blue) is slightly curved on the sides and we only find the module with the three (large) lenses.

Recently, the two devices appeared in TENAA , the Chinese certification body, thus revealing their dimensions . The OPPO Reno4 will measure 159.3 x 74 x 7.8mm and weigh 183 grams, while the OPPO Reno4 Pro will measure 159.6 x 72.5 x 7.6mm and weigh slightly less - 172 grams. They are quite similar to each other, although the Pro is somewhat larger.

That is also reflected in the size of the screen. The OPPO Reno4 Pro aims to be 6.55 inches and the OPPO Reno4 looks like it will stay at 6.43 inches . From the images that have been shown from OPPO, the panel will be perforated to make room for the internal camera. In both devices it will be curved and it is expected that, at least in the Pro model, it has a refresh rate of 90 Hz .

In terms of components, TENAA data shows that both models will have 8 or 12 GB of RAM , 128 or 256 GB of internal storage and the Snapdragon 765G processor , so they will be compatible with 5G. The battery also appears to be the same: 4,000 mAh with 65W fast charge (fast charge has been confirmed by OPPO ). So where are the differences? In the camera.

According to TENAA, the OPPO Reno4 Pro will have a 48-megapixel main sensor with OIS , a 12-megapixel sensor for recording videos in low light, and a 13-megapixel telephoto whose zoom is unknown. The OPPO Reno4 will have no OIS on the main sensor and will mount an eight-megapixel wide-angle and a two-megapixel depth sensor. The internal camera is the same for both: 32 megapixels.

Nothing is known about its price and versions. However, the TMall product sheet shows that there will be four colors (crystal blue, dream mirror, titanium white, and diamond crystal) and two versions: 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB . Its price is still unknown, so we will have to wait until June 5 to answer questions.
