The leaks indicated that for today there would be a new mobile for the Honor X series and here we have it. When we are still savoring its predecessors, the brand debuts the new HONOR X10 and with it the newly introduced Kirin 820 processor .

A chip that defines it as a mid-range smartphone that does not neglect 5G , the three rear cameras or the insertion of the front camera with a removable module. Something that in a way we are ceasing to see in general but that as we see continues without disappearing as an attempt to maximize the prominence of the screen on the front of the mobile.

90 hertz and a certain Huawei look

It seems that the DNA of their Huawei cousins ​​is somewhat more present than what we saw in the [HONOR 9x] , seeing that the HONOR X20 has a rear that is somewhat reminiscent of that of the Huawei P40 . We see the curved sides and the reflective rear that does resemble that of the previous HONOR X, but a module in the form of a domino for the three rear cameras on one side that represents a change in trend compared to these.

In addition, the fingerprint reader disappears and goes to the side as we saw in the HONOR 9x Pro , thus leaving that module and the brand's logo on the back. On the front, the absolute protagonism of the 6.63-inch screen with FullHD + resolution , according to the manufacturer, occupies 92% of this surface thanks in part to its pop-up front camera.

In addition, the display supports a 90Hz and 180Hz refresh rate for touch refresh. This brings it up to other proposals that we have been seeing in the mid-range in Realme or Xiaomi among other brands.

5G and about 40 megapixels that sound familiar

As we said in the introduction, this mobile integrates one of the latest Huawei processors, which like Qualcomm's analog brings support to 5G: the Kirin 820 5G . With this the HONOR X10 supports 5G both NSA and NA, in addition to dual 4G VoLTE.

Speaking of memories, there are two models depending on their configuration, speaking of one with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and the other with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, in both cases being LPDDR4. All of this is powered by a 4,300 mAh battery with a fast charge of 22.5W and is cooled thanks to a system of graphene layers.

Speaking of cameras, we see a 40-megapixel sensor for the main camera, being RYYB and 1 / 1.7-inch. It is accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle camera with an 8-megapixel sensor and a macro lens with a 2-megapixel sensor, incorporating Huawei's well-known artificial intelligence stabilization (AIS) for night mode and long exposure.

At the moment it is a local launch and they have announced the prices for China , being the following:

In this country it will be available in four colors: blue, black, silver and orange. We will be attentive to its arrival in the international market and to see how that price is, taking into account that the HONOR 9X was less than 300 euros, it would not be surprising that it was not too far from the conversion.
