Honor View30 and View30 Pro 5G Support

Honor makes the leap to 5G mobiles and does it with two flagships that release several technologies of the house . They are the new Honor View30 and View 30 Pro; Two smartphones presented today in China that incorporate the new Kirin 990 processor we saw in the Mate 30 Pro , full 5G connectivity, Turbo 4.0 GPU and a bored screen with reduced edges to try to compact your design to the fullest.
This is what the new Honor View30 offers, two terminals that in the same way that has happened with the flagship of Huawei and as the Honor itself suggests, are also affected by the Trump blockade and would come, if they arrive to Europe like last year, without Google applications .

Bored screen and side fingerprint reader

Honor V30 Red
During the presentation in Beijing, Honor has shown us its new high-end. The company has placed special emphasis on its "Sensible Design", with careful curves on the front and a new module for the camera with 3D glass.
The edges of the screen have been reduced to offer a high screen ratio, up to 91.46% depending on the brand . The chosen panel is a 6.57-inch IPS LCD with a FullHD + resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels.
Honor V30 Blue
As we saw in the Honor View20 last year, Honor bets on the screen bored for the inclusion of the front camera. Although not all components are under it, as the fingerprint reader stays on the side . A different choice from other manufacturers and that during our tests has given good results.

Full 5G connectivity: NSA and SA

Honor View30 5g
The Honor View30 are the first terminals of the brand to incorporate the new Kirin 990 processor, manufactured in 7 nanometers . Together with this chipset, we find 8GB of RAM and storage that starts at 128GB and goes up to 256GB, without the possibility of expanding it using microSD.
One possible reason is the incorporation of dual SIM compatible with 5G . And it is that the Honor View30 arrive strongly betting on this connectivity, where with its modem we will have compatibility with both NSA networks and SA networks . A large capacity that prepares the Honor V30 for the 5G that will arrive in the coming years.
For the software, the Honor V30 arrive with Android 10 together with Magic UI 3.0 , the latest version of its customization layer. When presented in China, there has been no mention of Google applications, but from the brand they explain that in principle they will arrive without them, unless there is a change of position from the US government. To boost this software, the Honor V30 introduces the latest version of its accelerator, GPU Turbo 4.0 and Kirin Gaming + 2.0.
Honor View30 Gaming
Honor seeks to place the Honor View30 as a mobile ready to play and here the battery also plays an important role. We will have 4,100 mAh battery, compatible with 40W fast charging and in the case of the View30 Pro version, also with 27W fast wireless charging and reverse charging to recharge other devices wirelessly. With this fast charge, Honor promises that we will be able to fill 70% in 30 minutes, while with wireless charging in half an hour we would reach 52%.

Triple camera with RYYB sensor

Honor V30 Camera
In the photographic section, the Honor View30 introduces a triple camera with a 40 megapixel SuperSensing main sensor . It is a RYYB sensor with an f / 1.6 aperture lens and capable of raising ISO up to 200,000 in the case of the Pro model.
The triple camera is placed on a huge module and is supported by the artificial intelligence of the processor NPU. Next to the main sensor, we have a wide angle of 12 megapixels and a field of view of 109 degrees and an 8 megapixel telephoto lens, with 3x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom .
The photographic system comes, as they explain to us, in the form of 'Matrix Camera'. Where the wide-angle secondary camera also has an RGGB sensor with Light Fusion to combine four pixels into one and create 2.8 μm pixels. For video the Honor View30 Pro has EIS, although we also have double OIS for image stabilization.
Under the bored screen, the Honor View30 add a 32-megapixel front camera with a 105-degree wide-angle sensor , in addition to portrait mode and night mode.

Versions and price of the Honor View30 and View30 Pro

Honor View 30 File
The new Honor View 30, popularly known as Honor V30, have already been presented in China, but the possible date of their arrival in more countries is unknown. Here, predictably both the problem with Google applications and the expansion of 5G will play an important role.
The Honor View30 will arrive in 128 and 256 GB versions in four different colors : blue ('Ocean Blue'), black ('Galaxy Black'), white ('Icelandic frost') and orange ('Sunrise Orange'). These are the official prices in China of the new Honor V30:
  • Honor View30 (128 / 256GB) : 3,299 and 3,699 Yuan, about 425 and 479 euros to change.
